1012 Water Street – Port Townsend Washington
Open daily 10am to 6pm
Port Townsend is the upper right corner of Washington’s Olympic Penninsula, just 50 miles and 90 minutes from Seattle. The Bainbridge and Kingston ferries connect Port Townsend with Seattle, the Coupeville ferry connects with Whidbey Island and the ferry dock is within walking distance to Gallery Nine.
One might say we’re the upper right-hand corner of the upper left-hand corner of the United States map.
Port Townsend, originally known as “the City of Dreams” is well-named. It’s a town of 9,000 who are sailors, painters, sculptors, jewelers, writers, woodworkers, musicians, boat-builders, buskers, poets, film-makers, merchants, beer, wine and cider-makers and drinkers, festival addicts (there are 48 festivals here) and much more. People are here because they want to be here – it’s an isolated place. Come and visit, enjoy our art, take in a movie with a martini, camp in an old-growth forest and take a ferry ride. You won’t forget it.
