Gallery Nine is Seeking New 2D and 3D Artists
Join our friendly group of multi-disciplinary artists! It’s a great opportunity to show and sell and grow.
The prospective artists’ jury process takes place during the first week of each month prior to the first Saturday Gallery Walk, usually after we rehang our work. Artists need to apply online, then make a scheduled appointment, bring their work in and talk about themselves and their art in front of the gallery’s membership. This way we get to know each other, find out if the work and you are a good fit. It’s a casual situation, not a high-pressured process. If you are accepted, but the membership becomes full, you’ll be put on a short waiting list.

The application is a Microsoft Word file, so you can easily fill it out with few computer skills, save it and attach back to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be taken to a download page – just click the ‘application for membership’ link.

When new members are accepted, they will sign a contract with the Gallery and pay the associated cost of buy-in & dues.
All members must work the Gallery a minimum of 2 or 3 4-hour shifts per month, attend business meetings, serve on a committee, and participate in Gallery Walk which is the first Saturday of every month. You MUST be within easy commute distance of Port Townsend and be able to communicate by email.
You will be given a month-long show each year, depending on how many artists the gallery has.
